Overview

Chira Væberæ Gûchya was founded durring the late 10th century, by Falassiel. The establishment of Chira Væberæ Gûchya was somewhat plagued by a lack of willing colonists, leading to Falassiel electing to pay people to resettle in Chira Væberæ Gûchya.

Chira Væberæ Gûchya was built using the conventions of Rattu durring the late 10th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Chira Væberæ Gûchya is no diffrent. The city's buildings feature timber framed wooden shiethed or brick construction, which gives form to a very formalized, rational, expence effishent arcatectural style based on strictly symmetrical designs which universaly feature pitched roofs, shutters, and the occasional column or pilaster for a decorative touch.

Chira Væberæ Gûchya is buildings are arranged arrounded highly ordered system of narrow paverstone streets which form hexical paterns, allowing the incides of the octagons to be common grounds for the buildings on the edges, be it for parkland, yardspace, plazas, or markets. The city has a set of well fortified walls, with gatehouses, watch towers, battlments, and even a moat, which are fashioned from stone and timber. Chira Væberæ Gûchya's walls are, howeaver, fashioned from stone and timber. While unorthadox, the design looks to be functional to a reasonable degree. With luck, the untested design will remain untested for years to come. Astonishigly, the unusual though effective defenses are in pristine condishion, as if they had just been finished before you laied eyes upon them.

Chira Væberæ Gûchya seems to be abandoned at first. There are people present, working their trades and going about their business like any community, it’s just they are absurdly quiet. Just as you start to think there might be trouble, you see most of them are reading. The entire city feels like a library, with those not reading remaining quite to not disturb those who have their nose in a book. The longer you remain in Chira Væberæ Gûchya the more you start to wonder if you’ve entered some strange open-concept University rather than a city, but you can’t quite say such with certainty.

History

Chira Væberæ Gûchya's residents established a new industry 6 years ago, and it’s making them a great deal of profit. Old patterns of authority and wealth are being disrupted, and the old gentry are unlikely to be pleased about it. They may be trying to take over the industry, or they may have been the ones to enable it in the first place and are using it to crush the life out of any rival power bases. Outsiders might be playing a major role as well, and it could be they plot to siphon off the profits.

In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the late 2nd century the Kami solved a major long term problem plaguing the town. One of Chira Væberæ Gûchya's local festivals commemorates this miracle.
